Dear Friends of Annunciation Catholic School,

I am pleased and privileged to welcome you to our website!  Today, Annunciation Catholic School serves a diverse, multicultural student body and provides a quality Catholic education that is accessible to all in the Washington, DC metro area.  Our Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8 program enriches students in a nurturing environment that fosters spiritual growth, academic excellence, and Christian service.  As a result, Annunciation Catholic School graduates are well prepared for the future, and 97% continue their education in Catholic high schools.  It is evident that our graduates have reaped the fruits of an Annunciation education steeped in faith, values, and service as they have successful experiences in high school, college, and beyond.

We are honored that the outstanding leadership of Monsignor Russell Phelan, Monsignor James Montgomery, and The Sisters of the Holy Child Jesus and the generous support of the parish have provided a storied and solid foundation for Annunciation Catholic School.  Today and for the future, we are truly blessed to have the loving care and forward-thinking direction of our pastor, Monsignor V. James Lockman.

The dedication of and love from our faculty and staff will continue to nurture the seeds of past traditions so that future generations will be deeply rooted in our long history of excellence in Catholic education.
